I evaluated another students post. I have read other websites and sources to get my information for my post. The websites were recent, hyperlinked to the sites the writers got their information from.
Demonstrate an ability to read and understand current biology news
I can use hyperlinks and other credible sources to research the topic and make sure the news is true.
I have read posts such as Not Exactly Rocket Science by Ed Yong, then researched the topics to make sure the information was true.
Demonstrate proper use of online resources
I will make sure I have hyperlinks to show where I got my information.

I will add to the credible sources page so my peers can know where I got this information.
I have added sources to the credible sources page, and they have been evaluated. I have published my post and it has been evaluated.
Discuss published work with a practicing biologist in that particular field
I email or contact a scientist in the feild of which I am writing.
I have e-mailed Ed Yong who is the writer of Not Exactly Rocket Science. He wrote about amphibians, which is what my post is on. As of now he has not responded yet.

tree frog

Have you ever wondered how frogs and other amphibians can benefit or die off because of their environment? Well its true, a quarter of the amphibian population each year have died from a major environment change, causing the species to head towards extinction. However few frogs have prospered from this change.

Can having less trees in an environment benefit a species? According to university of misouri all of the frogs that changed for the better, were very young tadpoles. They benefit because removing trees helps the young amphibians adapt to the environment better, they also live longer after they are born into the world with less trees. By the frogs living longer they are able to reproduce more, which is good for the species.

The older frog population is dying out, but the younger, healthier frogs will grow into the older frog category and they will be a stronger species overall. In conclusion, having less trees in an environment can benefit the amphibian species.

1. Can having less trees in an environment benefit a species?

2. Can a frog that has grown up with less trees live longer than a frog that has grown up with trees?

3. Have you ever wondered how frogs and other amphibians can benefit or die off because of their environment?

Great wiki page, it has all the requirements Ms. Baker asks for. Also it has creative photos that show the readers how frogs look like and amphibians too.
Your pictures are good and your video too. But I think you should add the correct website for your pictures so that Ms. Baker knows where you got it from.

Also I like how you made your photos to blend in with the paragraph which shows a great sign of creativity. Also try to add more information about the topic and be more clear about how exactly the lack of trees affects amphibians positively or negatively. I suggest that you add more videos or photos of examples of amphibians living better in an environment that lacks trees and so help the reader understand better what you're talking about.
